The Swim Relay
Isabelle Côté, Michelle Connolly, and Naomi Devine, alongside a rotating Indigenous fourth swimmer are challenging the entire length of the Fraser River in a 30 day swim relay.
This swim will be cold. It will be difficult. It will be beautiful. And it will carry a clear purpose: to help build public support for protecting 30% of the Fraser Rivershed by 2030.
This is more than an endurance challenge. It is an adventure of a lifetime in service of one of the most important river systems in the world. The Fraser sustains salmon, wildlife, communities, cultures, and ways of life across British Columbia. Its future matters to all of us.
